Пока дышу, надеюсь.Относящаяся к новому времени формулировка мысли, которая неоднократно встречается у древних авторов. Ее поговорочный характер засвидетельствован, например, у Цицерона ("Письма к Аттику", IX, 10, 3): Aegroto dum anima est spes esse dicitur. "Пока у больного есть дыхание, говорят, есть и надежда".В другой форме эта мысль выражена у Сенеки ("Письма", LXX): Omnia homini dum vivit speranda sunt. "Пока человек жив, он должен надеяться на все".Так и хочется повторить еще раз сказанное в предисловии к 1-му изданию dum spiro spero - пока жив, надеюсь, - но, конечно, при одном условии: при неустанной и бодрой работе всех, кому дороги заветы Белинского, кому дороги гуманно-освободительные принципы преобразовательной эпохи.
